Important Notices:
A friendly reminder that the final playing day for our Year 5 & 6 FutureFERNS teams for the 2026 season will be on Saturday, 8 August.
Participant certificates must be collected from Control prior to 8 August.
To celebrate the end of the season, round times will remain as normal, with games at 8:30am and 9:15am.
At the end of Round 2, all FutureFERNS teams will take part in a special march pass in their club or school groups, starting at 10:00am.
Teams will march from Courts 1 and 2 to Court 4, continue down to Court 12, and finish on Courts 9 and 5.
We would love each team or school to make or bring along a team/school sign to carry during the march pass. This is a great way to show your team spirit and add to the celebrations!
Following the march pass, all teams must remain on Courts 9 and 5 for a small prizegiving to celebrate the season and acknowledge the efforts of our players, coaches, managers, supporters, and volunteers.
There will be one prize awarded in each of the following categories:
Positive Vibes Only – Teams that consistently bring encouragement, enthusiasm, and positive energy.
NetballSmart Champions – Teams demonstrating great NetballSmart habits and a commitment to safe, smart play.
Future Stars Award – Teams that show a willingness to learn, develop, and give everything a go.
Sideline Support Award – Teams whose supporters create a positive, encouraging, and respectful atmosphere from the sideline.
We'd also love to see teams get into the spirit of the day by dressing up in their team or school colours. We encourage all players, supporters, managers, coaches, and volunteers to get involved—the more colour and team spirit, the better!
There will also be a Best Dressed Team Prize awarded to the team that shows the most pride, creativity, and enthusiasm on the day.
We look forward to celebrating a fantastic season and finishing with a fun and memorable final round.
