Finals Format – Key Rules & Procedures for semi-finals and finals
Please make sure you have registered in Sporty that you are the Coach or Manager of a team to recieve any change or default notifications.
No draws permitted in any Semi -finals 1v4 and 2v3 1v2 games.
This applies for Final 1v2 games also.
Procedure for Extra time will be followed if the game is a draw at the end of full time.
In the event of a draw.
Umpires will stand on a seat and wave to control
Control will stop the main clock.
Teams will have a 2minute break then change ends and
play extra time of 2 x 3min minute halves with a 1 minute halftime break. Teams will change ends at halftime.
Umpires will treat the first centre pass for each half of extra time as per the rules of netball, using additional odds and evens recorded on the official scoring app..
The same will apply for the Premier Reserve and College A1 self timed games. Coaches and Managers will need to make the time keepers know this process. Before this is put in place though the same notification process as other grades applies. Control must be aware if any game is going into extra time. ( Prem and College Prem will use manual scorecards)
A senior umpire coach may come to the game and may control the time if necessary.
If it is still a draw at the end of extra time, the game will continue until one team leads by 2 goals. At this point the game ends.
Team Responsibilities:
- Scorers : please ensure scores are standing together.
- First Aid: it is the responsibility of each team to provide their own first aider at every game. Teams must also manage their own first aid supplies.

- Rubbish Duty: Tauraroa
Team Duty Umpiring (16th August 2025): WGHS Prem, WGHS College Prem, Wahine Toa Puriri
