REPRESENTATIVE PROGRAMME

​​​​​​​Welcome to the Whangarei Netball Centre Representative Programme! We are committed to developing our young athletes and providing them with the opportunity to represent Whangarei at the highest levels of competitive netball. Whether you’re striving to compete on a regional or national stage, our programme offers a platform for players to grow, challenge themselves, and excel.

In 2025, Whangarei Netball Centre will proudly name:

  • Two Under 14 Teams

  • Two Under 16 Teams

  • One Under 18 Team

These teams will focus on developing both individual skills and team cohesion, while providing opportunities to compete at a higher level. Selected players will have the chance to showcase their talents and gain valuable experience across various tournaments.

ELIGIBILITY

  • U14 Teams: Players must be in Year 9 or above. Players must be under 14 years old as of 1 January 2025. Must not be turning 15 in 2024.

  • U16 Teams: Players must be under 16 years old as of 1 January 2025. Must not be turning 17 in 2025.

  • U18 Team: Players must be under 18 years old as of 1 January 2025. Must not be turning 19 in 2025.

TRIAL DATES

  • Monday, 28 April 2025 — Registration opens at 5:30 PM for a 6:00 PM start

  • Monday, 5 May 2025 — Registration opens at 5:30 PM for a 6:00 PM start

Players are encouraged to attend both trials to maximize their opportunity for selection.
