At Whangarei Netball Centre, we’re all about supporting our players and coaches both on and off the court. That’s why we’re excited to team up with M3 Clinic & Studio, Whangarei to deliver a practical, hands-on workshop designed to help prevent common netball injuries.
In a fast-paced, high-impact sport like netball, injuries can happen in an instant. Knowing how to properly strap an ankle or knee can make a huge difference — not just in managing existing niggles, but in preventing injuries before they happen. This workshop will equip you with the basics of sports strapping, including:
When and how to strap ankles and knees
The difference between strapping (using tape) and bracing (using support devices)
Simple injury prevention tips, including warm-ups, cool-downs, and recognising the early signs of injury
It’s a great opportunity for Coaches, Managers, Club Captains, and anyone passionate about player wellbeing to build their knowledge and confidence in this area.
