It saddens WNC to acknowledge the passing of Rosalie Beazley, Life Member WNC Junior Netball Association. Rosalie started with the Whangarei Junior Netball Association back in the 1960’s when netball in Whangarei ran under two entities – Whangarei Juniors and Whangarei Seniors.

There are many meeting minutes recorded in the old minute journals with Rosalie’s attendance, supporting and moving netball forward for all to enjoy. Rosalie also donated the Beazley trophy for Intermediate Teams to have a tournament especially for them to keep the enthusiasm, which ran for over 20 years.

Our deepest condolences & aroha to her children Gary, Paul, Lynne, Joanne, Maxine and Matthew, son & daughter-in-laws, grandchildren, great grandchildren and the extended family.

A celebration of Rosalie’s life will be held at the Onerahi Yacht Club at 11.30am tomorrow 29 July.
