Happy New Year! We hope you’ve had a great start to 2025. As we gear up for the year ahead, we wanted to share some exciting updates and opportunities with you.

Strategic Focus – Help Us Shape the Future

We’re currently refreshing the Centre’s strategy to better meet the needs of our community. To get your input, we’ll be hosting two focus groups on February 12th and February 23rd at the Centre. Please share this with your networks and encourage your members to sign up and attend. If you can’t make it, we’d love for you to fill out our short survey, which will also help guide us.

Twilight Netball – Join the Fun!

Our 7-a-side Twilight Netball league is back, and it's the perfect way to shake off the off-season, stay active, and have some fun in a relaxed, non-competitive environment.

• Dates: 19 February – 26 March 2025 (6-week league)
• Game Times: 6:00 PM & 7:00 PM (4x10 minute quarters)

Pre-Season Fitness Programs

We’re offering two fantastic fitness programs to help you get ready for the season ahead:

1. Netball-Specific Fitness Series (18+)
   • Dates: 18, 25 February, 4 March 2025
   • Time: 6:00 PM – 7:15 PM
   • Cost: $15 per session
   • Target: 18 years and above
   • In partnership with Health, Strength & Performance, Whangarei.
2. Youth Netball Prep Series (Under 18)
   • Dates: Tuesdays, 18 March – 8 April 2025
   • Time: 5:00 PM – 6:15 PM
   • Cost: Free
   • Target: Under 18

Year 9 & 10 Development Camp

A great opportunity for Year 9 & 10 players to develop their skills and prepare for the season.

• Dates: Wednesdays & Fridays, 26 February – 4 April 2025
• Time: 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM
• Cost: $70 (includes equipment and training t-shirt)

Walking Netball Event for Seniors

We’re excited to host our One-Day Walking Netball Event for seniors on March 8th, offering a fun and supportive environment to enjoy netball at your own pace.

• Date: Saturday 8 March 2025
• Time: 9:30 AM arrival for a 10:00 AM start
• Cost: $5 (includes tea, coffee & light refreshments)
